Wednesday afternoon...

and im at school...on the computer...using this site. NO SMARTASS like duh! of course you are because you posted this right now!! i mean my journalism class is totally using these blogs as an assignment where we have to blog about something. so i decided to blog about hate crimes/gay rights/being gay la di da!! and im IMing my BFF at the same time, of course :)

so i guess i am an ok multitasker since i havent been caught yet... o shit here comes my teacher

Multi-Tasking

Saturday Afternoon...

so im talking on the phone with my best friend, IMing my girlfriend, watching tv and YouTubing Twilight parodies. i am absolutely a succesful multitasker... but is that a good thing? is it helpful to society at all that i can do all those things at once? add in posting bulletins on MySpace and im as good as any other person my age. O, dont forget txting. maybe im not that great or as skilled as i thought. im not on MySpace, im not texting, so therefore, maybe im jut as lame as before.

i cant believe this is what my generation has come to: your place in life is determind by how many things you can do at once. lets role play:

becky: did you know that lucy cant text while on MySpace, and Facebook?
Amber: OMG thats stupid!! i cant believe she's that ridiculous!!
BecKy" i know rite, i mean how hard is it??

i definitely miss the days when all people used to was read books...

Friday Night...

and im at home on the computer, blogging, and listening to Taylor Swift. call me lame, but im quite enjoing myself. i mean im singing along to her song Your Anything and even though i feel like a total dork, its ok. my girlfriend already told me that im a nerd because i blog, but in my world, she's the nerd. she doesn't blog, so she has all this pent up angst that can't be let out. idk what blogging is supposed to be about, but i use it to scream out to the world and to whine to anyone who will listen. so why dont i start:

Im on YouTube watching this comedian who is definitely not funny. A fellow who goes by the name of Christopher Titus. i had heard him on the radio and he said some funny stuff, so i thought i should see his stand up. bad idea. i got through about 30 seconds of his Norman Rockwell stand up and decided that i could do a better job. i mean, who lets people like him think they're funny? it was the whole "my moms in the insane asylum and my dad is an alcoholic" deal. that stuff is so old!! its absolutely not funny. everyone uses the dysfunctional family deal. where is the originality? where is the laughter? you know whats funny? things people dont understand, like the economy. or the people out there who act like they know it all, but in all actuality are to ignorant to notice anything. to me, thats damn hilarious.
